{horizon organic} review + giveaway


Yep. That's right. This is a post about milk.
but, milk is important.

But - what's even more important is to consider that "not all milk is created equal."
In our house, we only drink organic milk... Horizon milk actually :)
Their milk is is produced without pesticides, cloning (*shiver* - cloning creeps me out), or antibiotics. {Horizon holds the USDA's organic seal} ... and produced in partnership with nearly 500 family dairy farms.

Also - Horizon milk is foritified with DHA Omega-3.

We regularly buy Horizon's Fat-Free Milk, but I was given the opportunity to try their Chocolate Milk!

We love it!!! It is definitely not "super sweet" (know what I mean?) - but, it has a great, smooth chocolate-y taste (creamy too)... and, I took a picture of the ingredient list -- see - no 'weird' ingredients.

    I love organic milk and organic cheese. Is interesting there is a documentary I saw all about rbst free milk and cheese and not. Rbst is an antibiotic used on cows to increase milk production but can result in infected utters and lots of other hazards, I wonder what that does to the milk ya know? I always get cheese that is either organic or rbst free. it even tastes better!

    I love the organic chocolate milk. At least, if I'm going to give my kids chocolate milk, I can know it doesn't have any added chemicals and preservatives.

    My favorite item, hands-down, is the chocolate milk that comes in little boxes with straws. I drink at LEAST one every day. I am obsessed. I love Horizon milk. I have been deemed lactose intolerant for YEARS, but since switching to Horizon I've had zero problems. Fascinating, really.

    I love my Chico bags. They fold up so small!
    In theory I really like Horizon's shelf-stable milk boxes, but they're just so expensive! So we go with water when we're out. But I would like to try them!

    I would love to just try their low fat milk. I drink non organic because it's cheaper, but i hate thinking about all of the crap that's in it.
