pillow pets (giveaway)

Have you noticed how extremely popular Pillow Pets have become?

In my kindergarten class - it seems like every child has a pillow pet that they bring each day for nap time. I will admit, when I first saw them advertised on TV - I thought they were kinda dorky...but, now that I see how much kids really love them - I think they are a great gift idea!  They quickly transform from a stuffed-animal toy into a pillow thanks to a velcro- strap.

 

 

 

I was sent the Magical Unicorn - and, I intended on giving it to a friend's daughter. Well, I was wrong. I had the pillow pet set on the highest ledge in our kitchen. While I was reading in the living room that afternoon, out of the corner of my eye - I saw something purple whisk by.  I then realized that my chocolate lab, Nora, was somehow able to reach the unicorn, pull it down, and that she had just claimed it as her pillow pet! 

Nora absolutely loves her pillow pet!! I don't blame her - it is super soft. She even carries it around the house ... so cute. (that little shaved-section on her leg? She had to have an IV when the vet cleaned her teeth) :-(
