ModTots. {review + discount + giveaway}

I have a new friend. His name is Scott. He is pretty quiet, yet he keeps me company with his sweet expression and overall happy-yet-zen-vibe. 

(Oh, and he's an owl.)

Scott flew in from ModTots - and I am so glad he chose to come to live with us!

Scott received his good looks thanks to Gregg Deal, the artist behind each Mod Tots piece, using an acrylic-based paint on the thick, oak composite.

I am quite impressed with the precision and clean lines!

(Look closely at the black outline -- see the subtle dimension? Skillz I tell you - Gregg's got skillz.)

Also, Scott's legs don't stop at the end of the board, they continue to the lip/edge (whatever it's called) of the board...

Details. I appreciate them.

The back is signed by the artist - and stamped with the ModTots logo (I heart their logo -- good font choices, Megan! (Gregg's wife) ... it was you that chose the fonts, right?) ;-)

And, again - the little details - take a look at this:

See those pencils marks under the saw-hook? Yeah. That's evidence that they care to take the time to center the hook properly - instead of just slapping it on there. (Gregg & Megan - your care has not gone unnoticed!)

I just love him! Scott will soon find his permanent home in my kindergarten classroom (I have an owl-theme goin'). I'm pretty sure the kids will love him too.
