Every single item that Linda, of burlap+blue creates -- I want. Honestly. The perfect blend of shabby chic, vintage, and modern. love, love, love  {and, I'm sure you will all fall in love too} Linda sent me one of her dessert pedestals! She creates these using upcycled candlesticks and plates. The particular plate used on my is a vintage Kate Spade for Lenox plate... I love the bold, kelly green stripes!

...and, as the name suggests - this dessert pedestal is great to use to hold treats! How darling would one of these be at a first birthday party too display the birthday girl's/boy's "personal cake" before they devour it?

or! Use these too hold/display practically anything! Right now, I'm using it to hold the jewelry that I wear frequently.

It's perfect for this & gives more space on top of my dresser -- you have room underneath. ;-)
