Celeste: Do you have any children? Tell me about them.
Denise: I have a 3 year old girl and a 4.5 year old boy. They love wearing something handmade by mommy:)

C: What got you interested in making girls' clothes, and when did you start?
D: Actually I started making boys clothing when my son was born 4.5 years ago but when my daugther was born I was "hooked" on making girls clothing!
I have been sewing about 20 years and I loved every minute of it!

C: What inspires your designs?
D: EVERYTHING! I find inspiration in my kids and about what they like. My daughter loves animals so naturally I design lots with that theme. I get inspired by nature, love everyting that grows outside and I get inspired by all those wonderful fabric designers!

C: Do you have a favorite item in your shop?
D: Usually it's the JUST LISTED one :) Once I make something new I can't wait to list .

C: When do you do all your sewing? Is there a special "mommy sewing time"?
D: Luckily my supporting husband gives me weekend sewing time but most of it all I sew in the evening and when my kids nap.

C: Do you have a favorite fabric or fabric designer/line?
D: There are way to many to list! I love them all more or less and especially those who design bright, happy and cheery prints!

C: Do you have another "day job" or other hobbies besides sewing?
D: Being a mommy takes up most of my time and hobbies besides sewing.....no...don't have any other hobbies, sewing is my hobby and my life

C: What do you love most about creating couture girls' clothes; and what do you love about selling on Etsy?
D: Since I am a crafty person to design is what I love. To come up with unique styles and alter excisting styles is the kick in my daily life. And etsy....come on...I love everyting about etsy! The customers are wonderful to deal with, I love chatting with them and coming up with their own personal design ideas is fun.

C: Okay. Time for you to brag about yourself - any accomplishments regarding your shop that you'd like to share?
D: I have been featured on Tots Trends Magazine recently as one of "etsy's best" That was fantastic! I feel so honored to have been mentioned!

C: Tell us one (or more!) interesting fact about yourself that maybe no one would guess.
D: Okay....I have a "dark" side...besides all those girly girl clothes in pinks and floral patterns etc. I LOVE skulls and edgy wear! I was planning on desiging a line with just those prints but I haven't had the time to do so. It's still in my mind and one day I will start!
