Tootledoo Designs {review + giveaway}

Pretty much everyone who knows me know that I am a total typography-geek. Seriously. I scour font websites on a regular basis, thoroughly enjoyed the Helvetica documentary, and even did a speech on fonts for a college speech class. Needless to say, I love incorporating typography into decor. This is where Tootledoo Designs came in. Mary, of Tootledoo, sent me a custom item from her shop - arriving wrapped in tissue paper & tied with jute. :-) 

 and inside ... 

a 12" letter W (for our last name) - made of wood and wrapped in decor-weight black & white damask!

It is stunning! And, I love the look of simply leaning it against our buffet table (as pictured)... perfect to put anywhere, really! You could easily hang these letters by attaching a saw-hook to the back. 

{These would be perfect for a child's room - get 3 for a monogram!}

I am very impressed with how well Mary wrapped the wood with the fabric (not an easy feat, if you ask me!) 

The edges are finished off/folded so nicely!
